I love the interior of this church because it's such a unique blend of East and West. The ceiling and walls are all covered with intricate golden mosaics that sparkle like jewels. I walked right in as mass was about to begin, but for unknown reasons they wouldn't allow in the two students with me. We figured it was because I was old and wearing a hat and looked as though I was there for proper reasons.
