The interior of the Orvieto Cathedral
This church contains amazing Signorelli frescoes which cost only 3 euros to view. Unfortunately, no photos are allowed, but they depict some pretty dramatic scenes of heaven and hell. These towns, according to our guide, were built on these unscaleable hills for defensive purposes against Huns and from north Africans. I'm sure the inhabitants never envisioned the thousands of tourists who would traipse through them thousands of years later!
