This cathedral towers above everything else in this tiny but gorgeous Etruscan town built on an extinct volcano, but the town towers over the valleys of olive groves and vineyards. We ate porchetta sandwiches, dolci and cappuccino while getting lost in the narrow streets. We had to take a funicular to get up to the town itself.
