The Mary Rose at Portsmouth Historic Dockyards
I've seen it a four times already, but I marvel every time. The Mary Rose was brought to the surface after it was "rediscovered" in 1971 by a team that included Prince Charles. The ship was commissioned by King Henry VIII. The Mary Rose Museum contains thousands of artifacts from on board the ship including clothing, utensils, musical instruments, etc., etc., all in relatively pristine condition. The hull of the ship itself is in a separate building, where it's constantly sprayed with water and a polyethylene glycol solution. By next year, it should be preserved well enough that people can see it without the barrier of glass and without the steam obstructing a perfect view. I'd like to go back for that!
